Health and social care organisations in Derbyshire have been working closely together for some time, to improve care and services for people and make them as efficient and effective as possible.
Our Board meetings are open to the public and take place on a monthly basis. The Board brings together the chairs, chief officers and other senior officers from statutory health and social care organisations. You can find out more about the Board, including who attends, when the meetings take place and agendas and papers on this page.
Wherever possible, papers relating to the meetings are published and available to read on our website five days in advance of the date of Board meetings.
Members of the public are welcome to attend to observe these meetings. Please be aware that attendance of the public may be limited by fire regulations, therefore attendance is on a first come, first served basis and unfortunately people may be turned away if capacity has been reached. Meetings will start promptly and late arrival may mean that entry is refused.
We are unable to print copies of the papers for members of the public unless a request is made in line with the Equality Act 2010.
If a member of the public has questions pertaining specifically to the agenda outlined in the published papers for any Governing Bodies meeting they can submit these to joinedupcarederbyshire@nhs.net
Questions must be submitted at least two business days prior to the meeting although more time may be required to answer some questions. Questions will not be accepted at the meeting.
Questions received at least two business days before the meeting will be read out on the day, but due to time constraints cannot always be answered during the meeting. The Board will provide written responses directly to the requestors as soon as possible thereafter, and all responses will be published in the minutes.
Questions relating to the specific agenda items may be allowed on the day at the end of the meeting at the discretion of the Chair. Questions relating to matters not on the agenda will not be accepted at the meetings and should be instead sent to joinedupcarederbyshire@nhs.net where an answer will be provided in due course.
The Board protocol should be observed at all times by Board members and members of the public alike.
