Health and social care organisations in Derbyshire have been working closely together for some time, to improve care and services for people and make them as efficient and effective as possible.
Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is excited to announce the launch of the Derbyshire DadPad app, which aims to help dads to be prepare for parenthood – from antenatal care to home safety.
The DadPad app is an easy-to-use resource that has been developed for Derbyshire dads by the trust’s children’s services team.
It provides support and guidance for new dads and dads-to-be in the Derbyshire area, packed with relevant information, as well as details on local support groups and service providers.
Claire Scothern, spokesperson for children’s services, said: “We know that dads want important information on how to care for their new baby, and what to expect. The DadPad® can help, by giving them the knowledge and practical skills that they need in order to give their baby the best start in life, look after themselves and support their partner.”
