Dental and Dentistry

Dentists range from single-handed businesses to national and international corporations.  Some operate under contract with the NHS. Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board is now responsible for the commissioning of NHS dentists and dentistry services in our area.

This page aims to guide people in Derby and Derbyshire to relevant services or support. Much of the information links to national websites.

Complaints

Complaints about optician and optometry services continue to be managed by NHS England.  If you have a complaint about care or services provided you can raise these directly with the provider, usually via the Practice Manager or via NHS England, who are the organisation with overall responsibility for commissioning Primary Care Services.
