Support with neurodiversity – children and families

If you need help with your child and you believe they may be autistic, or have ADHD, support is available at home and at school without the need for a diagnosis.  

Help in nursery, school or college

If your child is struggling at nursery, school or college additional help is available to your children’s education setting.

Derbyshire County Council schools can access the Inclusion Support and Advisory Service and in Derby City the Derby SEND Advice Service offer help to education settings.

The Derbyshire SEND Local Offer and Derby City Local Offer websites have lots of information on support and services.

Neuro hubs support children, young people up to age 25, and their families. These hubs offer a safe and supportive environment where individuals can seek advice, support, and guidance without the need for an assessment or diagnosis. The details are below:
