Continuing Healthcare and Continuing Care services now provided by ICB for Derbyshire patients
From Thursday 1 January 2026, the Continuing Healthcare (CHC) service for patients in Derby and Derbyshire will be provided by Derby and Derbyshire ICB.
This change will also apply to the service for Continuing Care for children and young people.
The service was previously provided by Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU).
The services patients receive, and the colleagues delivering their care, will not change despite a change in the organisation providing CHC services.
Patients may notice some small changes, such as the information they receive about their care being sent from the ICB, and there will be some new contact information should you wish to speak to our teams.
