National Covid Vaccination booking service

If you have been invited by the NHS to have your winter vaccination you can book an appointment at a vaccination clinic in Derby or Derbyshire by using the National Booking Service.

If you cannot book online, you can call 119 free of charge. You can speak to a translator if you need to. If you have difficulties communicating or hearing, or are a British Sign Language (BSL) user, you can use textphone 18001 119 or the NHS 119 BSL interpreter service.

When you book you’ll only be offered appointments for vaccines that are recommended for you based on your age, any underlying health conditions, and whether you’re pregnant.

Available appointments are shown on NBS for the next 25 days only. If your preferred clinic venue is not visible at the time of checking, this may mean that all appointments for the next 25 days are booked, so please try again for further future dates.

Walk-in Covid-19 vaccination appointments

A small number of vaccination sites accept walk-in clinics, but by booking your appointment you can reduce the risk of having to queue. This also helps vaccination teams to plan how many vaccines and staff they need each day.

Covid-19 Vaccinations for children aged 6 months – 4 years

The Joint Committee for Vaccination & Immunisation ( JCVI) have recommend that children aged 6 months to 4 years who are at greater risk from Covid-19 due to other illnesses are offered two doses of a Covid vaccination. Families of eligible children should have been contacted by their GP via text message. If you feel your child is eligible, but have not received a text message, please speak with your GP or paediatrician.

If you have been contacted to say your child is eligible, vaccination is available at Stubley Medical Centre. Please call 01246 94980 between 9am -1pm in order to book a vaccination.
