Freedom to Speak Up
Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) helps create a culture where people feel safe, supported and confident to raise concerns, suggestions or ideas about patient safety, staff experience, workplace culture or the services we provide. Speaking up helps ensure issues are identified, addressed appropriately and used as opportunities for learning and improvement.
The Freedom to Speak Up Guardian service is available to current and former employees of NHS Derby and Derbyshire. Guardians provide independent, confidential advice and support to individuals who are considering raising, or have raised, a work-related concern.
If you are a current or former employee of NHS Derby and Derbyshire ICB and would like confidential advice or support, please contact the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian team: nnicb-nn.dlnftsu@nhs.net
For further information, please see our Freedom to Speak Up Policy.
