Amanda Sullivan
Chief Executive
Amanda Sullivan has 37 years of experience in clinical practice, commissioning, and system transformation.
She is currently Chief Executive Designate of Derby and Derbyshire ICB, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB and Lincolnshire ICB.
Her previous roles include:
- Accountable Officer for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) between 2020 – 2022 where she oversaw the merger of 6 CCGs and the development of integrated system working. She was the Interim Accountable Officer for the 6 CCGs between 2018 – 2020.
- Accountable Officer at Newark and Sherwood CCG and Mansfield and Ashfield CCG between 2012 – 2018, supporting the development of a health and care alliance across Mid Nottinghamshire.
- Chief Operating Officer at Newark and Sherwood CCG and Interim PCT Cluster Director of Nursing for the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire PCT Cluster from 2011 – 2012, leading the establishment of a new organisation and overseeing service quality.
- Director of Nursing, Quality and Governance at Nottinghamshire County Teaching Primary Care Trust from 2007 – 2011, where she was awarded a prestigious Florence Nightingale Scholarship.
- Acting Director of Nursing and Emergency Planning Lead, then Interim Deputy Director of Nursing at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust from 2005 – 2007, where she developed a new model for nursing and midwifery practice across the whole trust.
- Staff Nurse, Midwife and Consultant Midwife from 1988 – 2005.
