Jon Towler

Non-Executive Director

Jon graduated in 1991 from Reims Business School with a double degree in International Business Administration and then spent the early part of his career in international sales management. He moved into general management roles in the late 1990s, spending eight years as a Director of the UK’s leading wholesaler of office products.

Jon has been involved with the NHS for more than fifteen years, previously chairing both a Primary Care Trust and the East Midlands Ambulance Service Since 2015, Jon has been supporting the commissioning side of the NHS, working in a non-executive capacity across multiple Clinical Commissioning Groups, before transitioning to NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB in 2022.

Jon also chairs a national conservation charity, which connects over 100,000 people together each year to protect and restore nature.

Outside of work, Jon is married with two sons and lives in Nottinghamshire. Jon will chair the ICB’s Strategic Commissioning Committee meeting in common and act as the Boards’ Deputy Chair.
