Rosa Waddingham
Executive Director of Quality (Nursing)
Rosa joined our cluster Executive Team from her role as the Director of Nursing at Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB, before which she delivered in the same role at the CCG. Rosa has had a varied career and worked in a variety of settings, including a third sector charity working with the military across the world. Following a return to the UK in 2015 she has had held a number of roles within the Nottinghamshire system, all with a focus on achieving quality through partnerships, developing and embedding person-centred care approaches and system leadership.
Rosa is an Honorary Professor at Nottingham Trent University with the School of Social Science and works closely with the Florence Nightingale Foundation and NHS Professionals supporting advisory boards. Rosa is passionate about people and developing person-centred approaches to care, and has undertaken executive leadership roles focused on learning disabilities, Autism, Down’s Syndrome, SEND and Safeguarding. As a passionate ally and supporter of equality and equity, Rosa also supports a number of networks and mentoring programmes and works to support and empower girls and young women through Girl Guiding UK.
