Confirmation of ICB Clustering Arrangement for Derby and Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Nottingham and Nottinghamshire

Regarding the proposed changes to Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) — specifically, the clustering arrangements — we are now able to confirm that the cluster comprising Derby & Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, and Nottingham & Nottinghamshire (DLN) ICBs has been approved by both NHS England and Ministers.

The objective of this clustering is to strengthen ICBs as strategic health commissioners, which will be central to realising the ambitions set out in the national 10-Year Health Plan. Clustering at this scale will also support the required reduction in running costs that all ICBs nationally have been tasked with achieving and ensure sustainability.

The website will be updated as further information becomes available.
