NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) came into existence on July 1, 2022, replacing NHS Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Every year we produce an annual report, describing our activities, achievements and challenges for the year. You can also read details about our financial performance and how we are meeting our governance requirements.

You can read older annual reports for the CCG and its predecessors, below.

2022 – 2023

NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board’s (ICB) Annual Report and Accounts for the first nine months of establishment,  July 2022 to March 2023, describes our activities, achievements and challenges during that time. You can also read details about our financial performance and how we are meeting our governance requirements.

Our financial statements are subject to a rigorous audit process and we are delighted that for the period July 2022 to March 2023, the ICB’s external auditors, KPMG, provided an unqualified audit opinion of the ICB’s financial statements within the report and concluded that there were ‘no significant weaknesses’ in relation to its use of resources.

On behalf of the entire ICB Board we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our ICB staff, our public and voluntary sector partners and all Joined Up Care Derbyshire staff across Derbyshire for their ongoing contribution towards keeping local people healthy and well.

We positively welcome feedback on your experience of local health services as well as your views about how best to shape local health care to meet local needs. If you would like information about how to get involved in what we do, check out our ‘Involving You and Your Communities’ section.

Integrated Care Boards are required to prepare their Annual Report and Annual Accounts in accordance with Directions issued by NHS England as directed in the National Health Service Act 2006 (as amended). If you have any queries or would like to request the Annual Report and Accounts in another format please contact the Communications and Engagement team on 01332 868 730 or by email at ddicb.communications@nhs.net

The NHS Derby and Derbyshire CCG’s Annual Report and Accounts for the final quarter of its operation, April 2022 – June 2022, is also published here alongside the previous CCG Annual Reports below.

The CCG financial statements are subject to a rigorous audit process and we are delighted that for the final quarter April 2022 to June 2022, the ICB’s external auditors, KPMG, provided an unqualified audit opinion of the CCG’s financial statements within the report and concluded that there were ‘no significant weaknesses’ in relation to its use of resources.
