A death by suicide has a wide-ranging impact and can affect up to 135 people per death. To help manage the aftermath of a death by suicide a Postvention Support Pack for Primary Care in Derbyshire has been developed.

This pack takes you through the steps required as a Practice and provides information on how to support anyone affected by the death, including family members, friends or staff.

You can find the latest, up-to-date guidance on suicide prevention and bereavement, including updates to the pack on the Derby and Derbyshire emotional health and wellbeing site.
