JUCD Wellbeing shortlisted for HPMA Excellence in People Awards 2023
Joined Up Care Derbyshire Wellbeing has been shortlisted for a coveted Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA) Award.
Shortlisted for the University of Bradford award for cross-sector working, Joined Up Care Derbyshire is one of three finalists in this category commended for the outstanding work achievements of its successful wellbeing enterprise.
The JUCD Wellbeing initiative is a collaboration of over eight anchor organisations; including local authority, acute and community NHS, Primary Care, Community, Voluntary and Social enterprises and select private sector partners operating across health and social care sectors throughout Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
With the focus on a joined-up approach to working, the JUCD wellbeing collaboration is recognised for its excellent cross sector working to develop and deliver an improved and equitable wellbeing service which supports a wider workforce across the system.
James Buckley, ICB Head of Wellbeing and Workforce Health Services said:
The JUCD wellbeing service has revolutionised the health and wellbeing culture within our constituent organisations.
This joint approach, a joining of knowledge, resources and skills, has enabled us to develop an improved and expanded person-centred model of sustainable, accessible and equitable wellbeing support that could never have been realised by the organisations in isolation.
After successfully winning the Nursing Times Workforce Wellbeing Initiative of the Year Award in 2021, the team recently celebrated receiving a coveted Highly Commended Award at the PPMA Awards ceremony in May 2023. And on 14th September 2023, the team celebrated winning the Most Inclusive Menopause Friendly Employer Award, at the Menopause Friendly Employer Awards ceremony.
